I have always been involved with creating things with my hands. From sewing to painting and eventually making jewelry. I spent many years as a silversmith creating unique jewelry. I still make jewelry. You can now find me working with a torch melting glass into beads. The bears still occupy most of my creative energy. God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to work in a field that I truly love.

Back in 1981 I made my first miniature teddy bear. It was so crude, but I thought it was grand! After making numerous bears I began producing kits for the tiny bears. My first kits were not as complete as the ones offered today. So many people wanted to know how to make such tiny bears that the kits were a great success and continue to be.
